Club Consider Trying To Keep Star On Loan From Arsenal

Nelson joined the Dutch outfit on loan for the season last summer and has made 22 appearances for the club in all competitions.

He is yet to score a league goal this term but Feyenoord have been left impressed with what they have seen of the 22-year-old winger.

The winger is scheduled to return to Arsenal at the end of the season and join their pre-season preparations in the summer.

But according to Dutch outlet 1908.nl, Feyenoord are thinking about keeping him beyond the end of his current loan stint.

The Dutch club are thinking about having him back next season and would need to hold talks with Arsenal over the summer.

His contract at Arsenal has little over a year left on his contract and the Gunners could look to sell him.

It remains to be seen whether Feyenoord would want to sign him on a permanent deal in the next transfer window.
