Top 10 highest paid Bundesliga stars revealed including NINE Bayern Munich players and just one from rival team
BAYERN MUNICH players make up NINE out of the 10 highest paid players in the Bundesliga.
And it’s no surprise to see goalscoring machine Robert Lewandowski at the top of the list.
As they have done on the pitch for the last 10 years, Bayern Munich dominate the Bundesliga when it comes to player salaries.
The club are in a different league financially compared to the rest of the division, and are well known for poaching players off the smaller clubs who can’t compete with their figures.
A list put together by Marca claims Lewandowski, 33, is the Bundesliga’s highest earner at a whopping £375,000-a-week.
But with a staggering 45 goals in just 37 games this campaign he is rather good value for that money.

The striker’s contract runs out at the end of next season, with rumours Barcelona are plotting a move for the Poland skipper this summer.
His sky-high earnings mean any potential move will not be cheap, although he’s still on less than the top earners in Ligue 1 and the highest paid Premier League stars.
A further four Bayern players earn OVER £300k-a-week, with Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sane, Thomas Muller and Joshua Kimmich all paid big bucks by the Bundesliga giants.
The quartet take home £50k-a-week less than Lewandowski, but reported weekly earnings of £325k are certainly not to be sniffed at.

Marca note that Kimmich’s salary is inclusive of performance related bonuses, while the others are not.
Both Lucas Hernandez and Leon Goretzka scoop £293k-a-week, with Kingsley Coman a tad lower on £277k.
There is one non-Bayern player on the list… but it’s not who you might think.
Alphonso Davies is tenth on the list, with the 21-year-old Canadian left-back landing £183k-a-week on his current deal.
Striker sensation Erling Haaland is not one of the top 10 highest paid players in the division.
Instead Marco Reus’ £194k-a-week wage makes him the highest earner at Borussia Dortmund, and the highest earner out of any club in the league not including Bayern.
Haaland meanwhile is claimed to be paid £130k-a-week, which puts him some way off a spot on the list.
Although he is set for a hefty pay rise if he ditches the club in the summer for Real Madrid or Manchester City.
