MOST people would agree that you should only apologize when you’ve hurt someone’s feelings – but what about when you’ve gained weight?
Well, a seemingly healthy woman did so her man decided to take that into consideration and actually cancel their date.
A woman, who goes by Kayla, decided to apologize to her boyfriend for gaining weight[/caption] So he decided to cancel their date[/caption]The young woman, who goes by Kayla on social media decided to share a screenshot of their conversation.
While trying to figure out their plans, Kayla decided it was best to give her man a heads up about the slight change in her appearance.
She explained in the clip: “So I’ve gained a couple of pounds since being home. I’m sorry if it’s noticeable tomorrow.”
Along with her apology, she admitted she wasn’t trying to be too stressed out about it since it was “bulking season.”

Nevertheless, the man took a moment to really contemplate what they should do since she had gained weight.
He replied: “Oh. Yeah, we don’t have to hang out tomorrow.”
Regardless of his response, fellow social media users didn’t understand why Kayla apologized for gaining weight in the first place.
One person wrote: “Never apologize for this ever again. You are perfect and he is yucky.”

A second said: “Please never apologize for something like that.”
“The fact you thought you needed to mention and apologize for it in the first place is a major red flag,” continued a third.
And while Kayla shared just how offensive her man’s reply was, another woman’s situation was a bit more creepy when her former Tinder match got ahold of her number.
The concerned woman even shared screenshots of what the man said when he decided to start texting her.
But of course, the first thing she needed to know was how he got ahold of her phone number so she asked him.
