Wilko slashes price of egg chairs by up to £65 online until MIDNIGHT tonight

POPULAR homeware and DIY store Wilko has slashed the price of highly sought after hanging egg-style chairs in a garden furniture sale.

Shoppers can save as much as £65 on them in time for the warmer months ahead – but they’ll have to act fast if they want one as the sale ends midnight tonight.

The Charles Bentley rattan egg chair was £350 but has been reduced to £285 – saving shoppers £65 in total.

The chair only comes in grey, and features a rattan pattern, an adjustable headrest and a safety belt to keep swinging motions controlled.

The seat also comes with cushioning, and the covers are removable should you need to clean them.

Wilko’s website states this item will be delivered on or before May 10 – so shoppers in a hurry to deck their gardens out should consider this before purchasing.

The budget-friendly retailer is also selling another Charles Bentley chair at a discounted price too.

Customers can nab a rattan swing chair for £340 down from £400, saving £60.

The item only comes in black, but it boasts a showerproof finish meaning it can remain outdoors all year round.

This chair also comes with cushioning for added comfort.

If you’d like this chair instead, you can expect it to be delivered on or before April 14 – just in time for Easter.

Both of these chairs are only available to buy online and have to be delivered home, so you won’t be spotting any in store.

Home delivery costs an extra £5, so make sure to factor this in to your budget.

There’s also money off other garden items on Wilko – but these discounts will be finishing online at midnight tonight too.

The Charles Bentley multifunctional contemporary lounge set is £480 down from £650, saving you £170, and the Royalcraft sorrento four seater dining set is down £175, priced at £405.

Shoppers should note that both egg-style chairs can be found on the Charles Bentley website itself – and for less money.

The rattan egg chair is listed for £269.99 down from £349.99, as opposed to Wilko’s £285 price ticket – so bargain hunters could save a further £15.01.

And the hanging swing chair is listed for £339.99, making it one penny cheaper than at Wilko.

Charles Bentley also offers free standard delivery which takes five to seven working days, so you’d be making a £5 saving on that too.

These aren’t the only egg-style chairs out there right now, so you should shop around to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

We spotted Dunelm’s Singapore hanging egg chair for £229 – which is £56 cheaper than Wilko’s lower priced option.

Aldi was previously selling a similar Gardenline seat for £189.99, but this sold out very quickly, leaving many shoppers disappointed.
