Chris Rock Seems to Dispute One Report in First Statement Since Will Smith Incident at Oscars 2022

Chris Rock made his first statements about Will Smith and what went down at the 2022 Oscars during his Ego Death Tour on Wednesday evening (March 30) in Boston, Mass.

While on stage, Chris greeted his audience with “How was your weekend?”

Chris went on, saying, “I don’t have a bunch of sh** about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I have a whole show I wrote before this weekend. I’m still kind of processing what happened. So, at some point I’ll talk about that sh**. And it will be serious and funny.”

However, there’s one line that Chris said on stage that has piqued fan interest.

Chris told the crowd, “I haven’t talked to anyone, despite what you heard,” seemingly confirming rumors that he has not spoken to Will, despite Will‘s public apology. It also seems to confirm that Sean “Diddy” Combs was not involved in helping them patch things up afterwards.
