The upcoming record was penned in Los Angeles when Winona was homesick and going through a tough time, and the island is a metaphor for a place when everything’s peaceful and simple, representing a happy place in ourselves or in a relationship; a bittersweet yearning for a place we ache to go again.

Since releasing her SHE EP in 2020, she’s already racked up millions of monthly listeners on streaming, with huge hits like “Hope,” “World We Used to Know” and “Piano in the Sky,” and even performed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #PLAYATHOME series.
