While the activist did not tell a WUSA9 reporter what was inside of the coolers, she did tell them: “People will freak out when they hear.”

She also told them she was expecting the raid “sooner or later.”

Police were sent to the house after they received a tip about potential bio-hazard material in the residence.

Once they got inside, they located the fetuses which were then collected by the DC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

“Upon further investigation, MPD located five fetuses inside a residence at the location,” a police statement said.

“The fetuses were collected by the DC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. This is currently a pending investigation.”

Court records show that Handy has a history of legal issues relating to her anti-abortion activities.

A DC charter school had filed a civil complaint against her for trespassing back in December 2015, and he was arrested for unlawful assembly at the same school earlier that year.

She was also arrested for unlawful assembly at different locations in 2019.

In January, she was cuffed for unlawful entry and blocking an entrance.

However, now she faces indictment after being arrested at the Washington Surgi-Clinic in October 2020.

She is accused of felony conspiracy against rights for a blockade inside of the abortion clinic.

In the, now unsealed, indictment, prosecutors say that Handy called the clinic pretending to be a woman named Hazel Jenkins.

She said that she needed an abortion and made an appointment for the morning of October 22 2020.

Handy then allegedly approached the clinic that morning and said she was Hazel Jenkins.

When the employee opened the door, the indictment says that Handy and the other co-defendants forced their way into the clinic, allegedly knocking the employee over in the process.

The defendants then allegedly moved chairs to block the entrance to the clinic’s treatment area and used chains and rope to tie them together.

Co-defendant Jonathan Darnel then allegedly live-streamed the blockade and said “we have people intervening physically with their bodies to prevent women from entering the clinic to murder their children.”

All nine of the defendants are charged with conspiracy against rights and clinic access obstruction in the indictment.

The first count is a felony carrying a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
