I refused to fart in front of my boyfriend and ended up in hospital having surgery it was a nightmare
WHEN you get into a relationship, it’s common that you always want to appear your best around them.
Whether it’s putting makeup on, dressing to the nines, or keeping normal bodily functions a secret.
But one woman was left in hospital after trying to keep up appearances around her boyfriend.
Posting to her TikTok account, Caza Kid, she revealed how holding in farts around her boyfriend ultimately put her in hospital.
The video has now gone viral with almost two million views.
The woman, who is from Ireland, explained how she and her boyfriend were always together.

Although she feels super comfortable around her boyfriend, like many of us she always tried to hold in her farts when around him.
But she warned people on TikTok, it may be better to just let them out, as her act left her in hospital.
She said: “Me and my boyfriend doing everything together and comfortable.”
She then showed a picture of herself in hospital and said: “Me having my appendix removed because I hold in my farts around him.”

Viewers were stunned by the video, with many women fearful the same could happen to them.
One wrote: “omg I’ve been holding mine in from Dean for years!”
To which the TikToker replied: “Get farting.”
“NEW FEAR UNLOCKED!” Another woman exclaimed.
A third said: “My stomach problems have gotten 10x worse since having a bf for this reason alone.”
Other viewers wished her a speedy recovery, “Omg I’m so sorry this happened hope you’re okay.”
Although there is little research showing that holding in trapped gas can cause you long-term harm, Healthline does say it can cause discomfort and it’s best to let them out.
