The last viewers saw of Isaac was him walking out of the Vic with Lola[/caption] Lola was devastated to hear he was leaving[/caption]Despite Sheree stealing money from her estranged husband Patrick and trying to destroy the family, Isaac decided to up sticks.
But he waited until the very last minute to tell his girlfriend Lola that he would be leaving.
Explaining to Lola that he had to go and help his mum, he told her: “Whatever you think of her, whatever I think of her – she’s still my mum.
“And she’s ill. I’ve got to do what’s right. I love you.”

Viewers were left confused and furious at the barely-there goodbye scene.
One wrote: “No Julia’s theme for Isaac Then #EastEnders” referring to how the show’s departing characters often get a special orchestral version of the theme song playing over their final scene.
A second said: “Honestly if that’s Isaac’s exit I’m not surprised, this year alone the character exits have been so bad. Even the Gray storyline, I get it went on so long, but a trial would have been epic. It’s so sad because Isaac was a great character.”
Another added: “They did Isaac so dirty with that exit.”
