House Republicans Open Investigation into Twitter, Facebook Suppressing Hunter Biden Laptop Story

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee announced Thursday a new investigation into Facebook and Twitter suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story in October of 2020. 

Over the last several days, mainstream media outlets that originally denied the legitimacy of the story have switched gears, confirming the laptop and its contents. 

Back in October of 2020, Facebook and Twitter suppressed the New York Post’s bombshell report detailing how Hunter Biden appeared to use Biden’s position and influence for financial gain. 

As reported by Just the News, the committee of Republicans said they will conduct a thorough investigation into Facebook and Twitter “[interfering] in free and fair election-related public discourse” on their platforms that worked “to the benefit of President Biden and the detriment of former President Trump.”
