Rangers sweating on Alfredo Morelos for crunch Celtic Old Firm clash as star is spotted at airport on crutches
ALFREDO MORELOS appears to be a serious doubt for Sunday’s Old Firm having been spotted on crutches earlier today.
The Gers ace was sent back from international duty with Colombia early due to injury.
Morelos missed the game at Celtic Park which ended in a comfortable win for the Hoops.
And his spot in the line-up this weekend looks in serious trouble after images circulating online showed the striker on crutches.
The image taken at Glasgow airport showed the forward wearing a black tracksuit and red cap while hopping using the crutches.
The Colombian FA revealed a thigh issue would rule the Rangers striker out the two games for his country.

They eventually missed out on a spot at this winter’s Qatar World Cup.
The statement read: “The technical and medical staff of the Colombia Men’s Senior National Team reports that, after performing medical tests on player Alfredo Morelos , a muscle injury in the left thigh was confirmed.”
The news on Morelos came shortly before the afternoon announcement that Gers had officially pulled out of the ‘Barbie derby’.
Fans from both sides of the divide had protested against the match going ahead Down Under during the Premiership shutdown during the World Cup.

Gers say a disagreement with event organisers meant the ripped up their end of the deal.
It’s understood they have cited several key reasons for their decision.
It’s believed Rangers insist there was an agreement with organisers to use the ‘Old Firm’ brand.
But that was changed to ‘Glasgow Derby’ which is the term used by Celtic.
Gers also claim the Parkhead club have highjacked the fixture by branding it as Ange Postecoglou’s ‘homecoming’ when talks first began long before his appointment as Hoops boss.
A statement read: “Rangers can confirm the Club will not be participating in the Sydney Super Cup in November 2022.
“After it became clear the tournament organisers were unwilling to fulfil their commitments to Rangers, we have, with immediate effect, terminated the Club’s agreement with the organisers.”
