Perfect House, Secret Location viewers all have the same complaint about families hunting for homes

PERFECT House, Secret Location viewers have vented about the HUGE budget that guests have on the show.

Channel 4 viewers joined host Steve Jones as he helped Keith and Tracey find a unique forever house by driving blindfolded families across the UK in a van in a bid to find them a dream home.

The Essex couple were looking for a property with more space, a bigger garden and a place where Keith could build a “man cave”.

Builder Keith, 48, was also hoping to find a home that needed minimal work done to it.

The family had big budget of £650,000 to £700,000 and were hoping this would be the final home after moving a whopping five times in the space of three years.

Steve showed them a 17th-century pub, a topsy-turvy old butcher’s shop, a seaside haven and a 1980s prefab lodge.

But viewers have slammed the programme for only showing families with “unrealistic” and “ridiculous” budgets.

One viewer wrote: “@SteveJones love the new show #perfecthousesecretlocation but come on, these budgets are ridiculous!!

“Each home is around 3x the national average. Ple3ase3 bring it more in line with the average. Please bring it more in line with the average person – £300k budget would be in line with what the general public can afford!”

Another posted: “#perfecthousesecretlocation any episodes where the family hasn’t got a fucking stupidly huge budget, by any chance?!?”

A third said: “It must of been £700,000+ as presenter said the average price in that area was £350,000 (or round that) and they had double the budget.”

“Watching #perfechousesecretlocation on Channel 4 and wondering how people have budgets of £650,000 for a house,” a fourth chimed in.

The programme aims to show people how far their money can go in locations they wouldn’t normally consider.

At the end of each episode, the families are left with a big decision: stay local or take a leap of faith and start a new life somewhere far away.

Last month viewers saw Steffi, 37, and Jimmy, 38, who had been based in Brentford for the past fourteen years with their three children Alice, Heidi and Franklin, search for their ideal property.

The family visited a mock-Tudor home, a Georgian house with a wine cellar and an old converted Post Office as they looked for more space.

They were taken to the coast in Hastings for their first visit, where they saw the spacious Tudor house with six bedrooms and four bathrooms.

“London w*****s who can afford to buy a castle after selling their s***ty little suburban houses,” one viewer scathed.

A second chimed in: “Wanna know precisely what’s wrong with housing in Britain today?

“Why London has such a toxic effect and just how tone bloody deaf and screamingly angry smug property programmes can make you when whole generations can’t get housed? Head to Perfect House.”

Perfect House, Secret Location returns Thursday on Channel 4 at 8pm.
