Photos: House that once belonged to Scott and Laci Peterson for sale for $460,000
The Modesto house that once belonged to Scott and Laci Peterson is on the market for $459,888, reports the Sacramento Bee.
This is the home where the couple lived in 2002 when Scott Peterson was accused of murdering his wife, Laci, and their unborn baby. Peterson’s 2005 death sentence was overturned last year because a court ruled that potential jurors were improperly excluded from the jury pool. He was re-sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Peterson, 49, currently is seeking to overturn his conviction by arguing that one of the jurors in his trial lied.
The 1,770-square-foot house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It features a remodeled kitchen with a built-in wine rack, two fireplaces and solar panels. The backyard is well-landscaped with a courtyard and pool.
Cynthia Hackett with Open House Real Estate is the listing agent.
The home was last purchased in 2013 for $180,000, according to public records.
