2024 A's Via Reverse Engineering
An Excellent Tracker Chart! I just discovered it:
Dalton Kelly & Billy McKinney are not on the A's 40-Man roster. Maybe they lost this chance of making the team when Lowrie and Vogt were signed? ...both are listed as "lineup/bench candidate" on the linked Tracker chart above.
A's can DFA /Re-assign or Trade, or place players on the IL to create the opening(s) to add either or both.
That said, six 2022 players are short-timers, look at bold names below. So openings are expected, it is just a matter of when and if that will be in time for 1B/OF Kelly & Utilityman McKinney.
A's can also DFA/Re-assign players: Holmes? Thames? ...someone else?
The IL listing may provide an opportunity? Honeywell, Guerra, Kaprelian may be going onto the IL. If for a pro-longed duration as rumored for Honeywell Jr, a spot on the 40-man roster may become available via a player unable to perform.
With the considerations above, here is my version of a backwards engineered A's with 2024 shown above 2023 & 2022. The tracker chart is excellent for the complete 2022 roster and includes key data on players.
