Sir Max Hastings:It was tragic and terrifying but it gave Britain back it’s national pride

A COUPLE of weeks into the Falklands land campaign, journalist Max Hastings arrived exhausted on the shore at San Carlos Bay to hitch a lift to the Task Force fleet where he could send a satellite dispatch to Britain and perhaps take a shower.
