90 Day Fiancé: Caleb Reacts To Controversial Intimate Scene With Alina
Caleb Greenwood and Alina Kozhevnikova once shared an intimate scene on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days that stunned TLC viewers. Caleb and his former Russian partner Alina were a no-show at the Tell-All Part 1 which aired on April 3. Most fans were suddenly reminded of Caleb and Alina’s journey that had taken them to Turkey and ended in a breakup. The reason that Caleb and Alina weren’t on the reunion episode was that the “My Pu**y Has WiFi" singer had been fired for her racist social media posts. But that hasn’t stopped either of them from speaking about their journey on the reality TV show.
Alina was the first little person on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise and was an instant favorite amongst fans for her positive attitude. But fans watched Alina turn desperate on the show when Caleb decided to take things slow. Alina kept demanding “cuddles” from Caleb who was honest about how he needed time to accept their physical differences. However, fans witnessed a shocking scene between Caleb and Alina on a January 2021 episode of Before the 90 Days. The lengthy scene had Caleb and Alina kissing, him untying her shoes, and then proceeding to make out with the camera crew still present in their bedroom. The cameras kept rolling even when the lights went off and fans had to hear kissing sounds which left them feeling awkward and uncomfortable.
While Caleb had to exit 90 Day Fiancé by default when Alina was fired later that month, he is keeping his fans entertained on social media by taking funny digs at his own segments from the show. Caleb shared a TikTok video (via Reddit user MarsipanStan) of himself with a screenshot of the infamous scene between him and Alina in the background. Caleb added the words, “Everyone during the make-out scene” to his post. He then added a part of the song “Fireflies” by Owl City to the clip in which the singer croons, “I’d like to leave” to convey what 90 Day Fiancé fans felt during the scene.
In the comments, fans expressed sympathy for Caleb because he took a collateral hit for Alina getting fired. Others missed Elijah, who they think was the best sidekick of the season and would have added some more drama to the already chaotic Tell-All. Some are keeping their fingers crossed in hopes that Caleb will return in 90 Day: The Single Life season 3 as he and Alina are no longer together. However, not all reactions to Caleb’s TikTok were positive as a couple of TLC viewers called it as cringe as the actual scene.
After the finale and the Tell-All Part 1 for 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, fans rushed to Caleb’s Instagram to see what he's been up to. Meanwhile, Caleb wished all of his fellow cast members all the best for their future. Mike Berk, Jasmine Pineda, and Gino Palazzolo all wished they’d seen Caleb’s smiling face at the reunion. Considering how dramatic Caleb and Alina’s storyline was despite the awkward sex scenes, they still would have had a lot of secrets to spill during the special episode. In all likeliness, given Caleb’s popularity, he will certainly secure a spot for a comeback. Perhaps Caleb will follow in Usman Umar’s footsteps and bring one of the 100 women he’d dated to a new spin-off or season.
