Deadline cast: Who stars in Channel 5 drama?

THE new drama on Channel 5, Deadline is a four-part series that uncovers the truth behind a gruesome murder.

Featuring Peaky Blinders actress Charlie Murphy as the lead role, here is who else stars in the thriller.

Charlie Murphy is a 33-year-old Irish actress, born on April 19, 1988.

She is best known for her role as Siobhán Delaney in the RTÉ drama series Love/Hate.

The role won her the Best TV Actress at the 2013 Irish Film and Television Award, and Best Actress in a Lead Role at the 2015 Irish Film and Television Awards. 

She also is well known for her portrayal of Jessie Eden in the BBC period drama Peaky Blinders.

James D’Arcy as James Alden

James D’Arcy is a 46-year-old English actor and film director, born on August 24, 1975.

He is well known for portraying Lee Ashworth in the hit ITV drama Broadchurch in 2015 and Edwin Jarvis in the series Agent Carter.

He has also been in movies such as Master and Commander, Dunkirk and Avengers: Endgame.

Indra Ové is a 55-year-old British film, television and stage actress, born in 1967.

She starred as Maria Carr in the 2018 series of Unforgotten on ITV.

She has also had roles in She’s Out, The New Worth Witch, Doctors, Breeders and Sex Education.

Brian Caspe is an American born actor living in Europe. 

The actor is best known for playing Herr Mueller in the movie Jojo Rabbit.

He has featured in Doctor Who, Spy City, Knightfall, Carnival Row and Hellboy.

Anamaria Marinca is a 44-year-old Romanian actress born on April 1, 1978.

She made her debut on Channel 4’s Sex Traffic which she won a BAFTA for Best Actress back in 2005.

Since then, she has had roles in Temple, The Chelsea Detective, Mars and Tin Star.

When is Deadline on Channel 5?

Deadline kicks off TONIGHT (April 5) on Channel 5 at 9pm for an hour.

It will also be available to stream via My 5.

The show will have four episodes in total, with each episode airing on consecutive nights at the same time from April 5 to April 8.
