NASA breakthrough: Quakes detected under dark spot on Mars show subsurface magma movement

SEISMIC activity beneath a dark spot on the surface of Mars may be the result of magma movements within the Red Planet's mantle, rather than crustal forces as previously thought, a study of a series of newly-detected "marsquakes" has revealed.
