Deegan revealed the terrifying saga on her YouTube channel in a video titled “Our Lives Are Being Threatened.”
During the 15 minute YouTube video, Deegan shared an audio clip from a video she says was sent to her by the 36-year-old man.
A male voice can be heard addressing Cabre and saying:
“Boy I swear to f***ing God if your a** ain’t out of North Carolina before the sun goes down, you are guaranteed going to see my motherf***ing face that’s going to be the last motherf***ing you ever see go through you’re motherf***ing eyes. I promise you.”

In the new video, she revealed that the stalker incident was the reason she had decided to skip a recent race.
Deegan had originally told fans she was missing the Freedom 500 race to stay in North Carolina and deal with “something on the personal safety side.”
But sitting on a couch next to Cabre in this week’s video, Deegan told viewers she wanted to give them more details about why she had dropped out of the race.

“As most of you guys know I had to back out of the Freedom 500,” Deegan said in this week’s video posted on April 4.
“Pretty much today we’re going to be getting into what that personal thing is.”
According to Deegan, she received an eight-page handwritten love letter from the male fan, who claimed to have been dating her for months.
In the letter he said he loved her, was infatuated with her, and referred to her as his “soulmate.”
When she looked up the man’s name, she realized he was in a relationship on social media with a fake Hallie Deegan account.
She said the man’s behavior has become increasingly overwhelming.
The couple made an overture to the man in the video in an attempt to get through to him that he was being catfished.
“If you are watching, just, please,” Cabre said.
“I’m not threatening, I’m not doing anything. I’m just saying, it’s over. It’s not real. Just leave it alone.”
