AN UPSET man took to the internet to vent about what may be the demise of his engagement.

He claimed his fiancée won’t allow his sister to be part of his groom party even though they’re super close, and it has him rethinking his whole future.

The man, who shared the story on Reddit, began by saying that his bride-to-be has never gotten along with his sister because she “never liked” how close they are.

He said it all began when his fiancée, Sarah, walked in on him and his sister “cuddling.”

“Sister had her head on my shoulder, and my arm was wrapped around her, which made Sarah upset,” he noted.

And despite the engagement supposedly making their relationship stronger than ever, the poster is now rethinking his future because Sarah refuses to let his sister be in the wedding at all.

He claimed that once he mentioned his sister’s name in the list of people he wants to be grooms people, his bride became “upset.”

“She said that it wasn’t traditional for a woman to be a groomsman and that it would embarrass her,” he recalled.

“I explained to her that my sister was one of the most important people in my life, and she was going to be a part of our wedding.”

He then noted that Sarah accused him of “trying to ruin her wedding day,” and hasn’t spoken to him since.

The poster claimed he’s now getting messages from Sarah’s family berating him for his desire to include his sister in his wedding day and that he should only care about his future wife.

He added that his sister agreed to not be in his party, but he refused.

“My sister is aromantic, and told me when she first came out that she would most likely never get married, and that made her sad.

“I told her she could be a part of my wedding, even if it wasn’t the same thing.

“I will never forget the look of joy on my sister’s face. This is why I won’t back down,” he explained.

He asked the strangers of the internet for advice, and dozens told him to stick up for his sister.

“If she truly thinks that she should be the most important person in your life to the point that you exclude other people from standing by your side, that is an extraordinarily insecure and controlling person,” one concerned reader wrote.

“I would be deeply concerned about spending your life with someone who thinks your sister should not be important to you.”

“Your future bride views your sister, who is just barely of legal age [by the way], as a SEXUAL rival.

“Let that sink in, because it’s sick,” another slammed.

Several others shared stories of having men in the bridal party and women in the groom’s party.

In a final update to his post, the poster declared that neither of them have changed their stances.

He said they sat down to speak about the issue, and Sarah reiterated that men should stick with the groom and women should stick with the bride, but the full truth then came out.

“Sarah implied that we had more than a sibling relationship,” the man claimed in his post.

“She said cuddling between siblings was something she had never seen, and that it just didn’t seem like something normal siblings did.

He claimed that he “assured” his bride-to-be that nothing inappropriate would ever happen between him and his stser, but she didn’t want to hear it and started arguing.

“I gave Sarah an ultimatum.

“We could go to couples therapy, she could try to repair her relationship with sister, and tell her family to stop guilting me, or we were going to have to call of the engagement,” he revealed.

He continued on to say that Sarah left the house and he is now getting hate messages from her family, so he believes that will be the end of them.

He concluded: “But to wrap things up on a good note: sister is planning on moving in with me … her mental health was drained from this, so we decided to move in together.

“Thank you everyone for sticking through this with me, I appreciate all the kind messages.”
