Take a look at the action and emotions from the first day of the Arcadia Invitational track and field meet Friday at Arcadia High School.
One of the highlights was St. John Bosco setting a state record in the boys 4×200-meter relay with a time of 1 minute, 24:15 seconds that topped a Long Beach Poly mark that had stood for 23 years, according to PrepCalTrack.com’s Rich Gonzalez.
The meet continues Saturday with an all-day schedule that includes the featured events, and some of the top athletes in the nation, competing in the evening.
