Indian police say 60 foot bridge stolen for scrap metal
PATNA, India: Indian officials have acknowledged that the police are hunting members of a gang who dismantled a 60-foot iron bridge and likely sold it as scrap metal.
Posing as government officials attached with the irrigation department in the eastern state of Bihar, the thieves used gas cutters and earthmoving machinery to dismantle and steal the bridge in the village of Amiyawar, some 93 miles south of Patna,
