Richard Madeley makes clanger that leaves Ranvir Singh furious on Good Morning Britain

RICHARD Madeley left his Good Morning Britain co-host Ranvir Singh furious today after his latest clanger.

Last week, Ranvir stepped in to cover Lorraine Kelly, who is having a well-earned break during the Easter school holidays.

This morning, Christine Bleakley appeared on-screen to reveal what was coming up on the show as she took on Lorraine’s second week off.

Surprised to see Christine today, Richard put his foot in it when he said: “Gosh, Lorraine has been away forever.”

His comment had Christine in hysterics, while Ranvir pulled Richard up on his comment – but it was all in good humour.

Ranvir said: “Hang on, I thought we did a very good job.

“You shouldn’t be rude… We’re trying our best.”

Richard insisted: “I’m not decrying you.

“I’m just wondering where she’s gone, she’s been gone forever. Anyway, what have you got on today Christine?”

The presenter laughed: “I am doing my best to cover today.

“I promise you, Richard, I won’t bore you.”
