Mumbai: Ravindra Jadeja is a trendsetter on a cricket field and he did that reputation of his good after he came up with his ‘firing gun’ celebration on Tuesday after dismissing Glenn Maxwell at the DY Patil stadium. He fired a gun with his two fingers. It was the sixth time Jadeja got Maxwell in nine meetings.

The best part was that Jadeja got the wicket at just the right time for Chennai as Maxwell was looking threatening. Maxwell hit a 8-ball 21 blitz. The ball that got Maxwell was pushed a little faster than the previous that and seems like that is what did the Australian cricketer.

That was not the only wicket Jadeja got in the match, he also dismissed Wanindu Hasaranga after being hit for a six. He also picked up Akash Deep to return with figures of three for 39.

Chennai finally brought an end to their winless streak after four matches as they beat Bangalore by 23 runs.

After the win, Jadeja dedicated his first win as captain to his wife and claimed that the team is good and thanked the management. “First of all, this is the first victory as a captain ever. I would like to dedicate to my wife and also the team because first victory is always special. Previous four games, we couldn’t cross the line. But as a team, we came good,” Jadeja said at the post-match presentation.
