Like many during the pandemic, Kat Hernandez did some soul-searching. She decided to follow her entrepreneurial instincts and open a small business that curates, customizes, consults and delivers houseplants to New York City residents and companies. As founder, she named the business Juanita’s Plants in honor of her grandmother.
