Maya history rewritten as archaeologists make stunning find of earliest-known calendar

ARCHAEOLOGISTS working on a pyramid complex in Guatemala have uncovered the oldest physical evidence for a Maya calendar system in the form of inscribed mural fragments dating back to around 300-200 BC.
