Dame Katherine Grainger will chat to Presenter and Broadcaster Laura McGhie about sport, her interest in law and Chairing UK Sport.

Olympic icon Dame Katherine Grainger, DBE is currently Chair of UK Sport and a regular on our tv screens during major rowing events. Part of the crew that won GB’s first women’s Olympic rowing medal in 2000, she is probably best known for her hugely popular Gold Medal in London and being the first British woman to win medals at five successive Olympic Games. There is however much more to Dame Katherine and she will chat to Presenter and Broadcaster Laura McGhie about her sporting career but also what lay behind her decision to complete a PhD in homicide, stories from her media work and the challenges that come with her role in UK Sport, the government agency responsible for Olympic and Paralympic sport. Oh, and there are also the donuts !
