DWTS: Brian ‘Thankful’ To Sharna For Caring For Him Amid Health Issues
Brian Austin Green is on the verge of recovery after battling ulcerative colitis and is thankful for his pregnant girlfriend and Dancing With The Stars pro Sharna Burgess for caring for him. Brian and his sweetheart Sharna have been quite supportive of each other since day one. In addition, the couple has been open about their commitments to each other since their relationship became public. Brian, 48, who can't seem to stop gushing over Sharna's beautiful personality, revealed in an interview in 2021 that the 36-year-old reality star is an amazing woman and loves his kids.
Brian, who shares son Kassius, 19, with Vanessa Marcil and Noah, Bodhi and Journey with ex-wife Megan Fox, confirmed that Sharna has a strong connection with his children. Brian's kids' also love Sharna and were super excited when she became pregnant for their father. The ballroom dancer and the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum announced that they were expecting their first child together in February 2022. Sharna later revealed that she was nervous about telling Brian's three younger kids about the baby because she feared their reaction. However, she had nothing to worry about as the kids were happy.
Sharna undoubtedly has all the support she needs from the family, whose bond is growing every day. On Wednesday, April 13, the Desperate Housewives actor revealed via an Instagram video that he had ulcerative colitis for about six or six and a half weeks and the period wasn't fun. Brian also said the timing of the sickness was horrible. However, throughout this trying time, Brian had the full support of his sweetheart Sharna, who he thanked for caring for him. He said, "[She is] six, seven months pregnant [and] taking care of my three young kids [Noah, 8, Bodhi, 7, and Journey, 4] … taking care of me, not complaining."
Brian couldn't help but praise Sharna's selflessness and concluded his update by noting that he was feeling better and glad the terrible experience was over. In the post's caption, Brian still had sweet words for Sharna, writing, "Again, I’m a lucky man. @sharnaburgess I love you ❤️." Sharna later reacted to the "… With Brian Austin Green" podcast host's public acknowledgment in the comment section by writing, "Baby this was beautiful and unexpected. But I love you, and I've got you. You and the kids, always." The Australian native and Brian have a lovely relationship. Sharna has also confirmed that she is satisfied with her current relationship status. Although the pregnant TV star would love to have a ring on her finger, she confirmed in an interview that she doesn't need a ring to know Brian loves and supports her.
The bond between Brian and the Dancing With The Stars pro is amazing. Sharna's selflessness is also quite remarkable. Being pregnant can be exhausting and with Sharna about seven months gone, it is expected that she already feels the impact of her pregnancy on her body and agility. However, she proved to be stronger than expected by caring for a bedridden Brian and his kids. Sharna undoubtedly cares for Brian and it is good that he acknowledges it and tells the world how lucky he is to have her. Thankfully, with Sharna's support, Brian is back on his feet, and one can only hope the couple faces no other challenges as they count down to the birth of their baby.
