Kim Kardashian Posts Rare Pete Davidson Pic Amid The Kardashians Debut
Amid the debut of the family's new Hulu reality show, The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian posted a rare set of PDA-filled Pete Davidson pictures on her Instagram. Kim and Pete have slowly unveiled their relationship to the public over the last seven months, but the pair appears to be growing more comfortable putting their relationship on display.
Kim and Pete have platonically known each other for a few years, making their romance a surprise to many of their fans. Kim claims her relationship with Pete changed while hosting Saturday Night Live when she caught feelings for the 28-year-old comedian after sharing their iconic first kiss on live television. After the staged kiss, Kim and Pete were first romantically linked in October of 2021. When they first began spending time together, the new couple attempted to stay out of the public eye, but the pair have become increasingly open about their romance. Kim and Pete have been Instagram official since March 11th, 2022, they openly spend time with each other's families, and Kim is even introducing Pete to her four children.
The newest edition of coupled-up photos show Kim and Pete holding one another and gazing into each other's eyes in the corner of a restaurant booth, with food-covered plates and a Diet Coke can on the table before them. Kim added the flirty caption, "late nite snack." Kim has been showing off Pete on Instagram amid the release of the heavily anticipated new series The Kardashians; however, he will not be making an appearance on season 1 of the family's new reality show. Regardless of coverage within the show, along with the new social media posts, the pair continues to show off their love in public. Last Thursday, Pete attended The Kardashians series premiere with Kim, with her adding that he may show up in later seasons. “If there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away,” she said.
While Kim has been enjoying her time with Pete, she also has been navigating her highly publicized separation from Kanye West. Kim filed for divorce from Kanye, her husband of seven years and the father of her four children, on February 19, 2021. Kim and Kanye's relationship has been heavily publicized since they married in 2014, and Kanye was frequently on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Since beginning her relationship with Pete, Kanye has openly voiced his disdain for the relationship. During one of Kanye's attacks on Kim's parenting, Pete reached out to Kanye, defending Kim but escalating the situation. Recently released footage of Pete spending time with North has added fuel to the fire between them. Kim will openly discuss her relationship with Kanye in the upcoming episodes of The Kardashians.
Despite the drama caused by Kanye's frustration with Kim and Pete's relationship, the reality star seems ready to embrace her relationship with Pete and take things to the next level. With the PDA-heavy Instagram post, in combination with Pete attending last week's premiere of The Kardashians with Kim, it seems they are ready to make a new public shift in their relationship. This signifies that Kim is moving on from the past and is ready to embrace a new era with Pete.
