[Baseball] Smyth Belts Two HR's; SXU Tops IUSB, 17-13

CHICAGO – Junior infielder Declan Smyth (Evergreen Park, Ill./North Central/Evergreen Park) slugged a pair of home runs, collected three RBI's and scored three runs to help lead Saint Xavier University baseball (30-9, 13-4 CCAC) to a 17-13 win over Indiana University South Bend on a windy day at Richard R. Ferrell Field in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action Thursday afternoon in game one of their doubleheader. The second game was suspended after the bottom of the 5th inning due to darkness tied at 15-15. Game two will be made up at a later date and resume in the top of the 6th.
