Wordle 300: April 15, 2022 Hints & Answer | Screen Rant
The April 15th Wordle could easily break a player's long-running win streak. Depending on the starting word chosen, today's Wordle could lead to a standstill of too many choices. Oftentimes in the game, it's the most common words that will cause the most trouble. Focusing on the letters that have yet to be used is one of the most effective ways of solving a day's word. Many times the game will get players stuck with too many options to choose from, but with a little luck and ingenuity, any word can be solved.
To help combat a loss, it's important to use the clues that the game provides. Turning on Wordle's Hard Mode is the most effective way, as it forces players to think critically by disallowing the use of letters proven incorrect, or rearranging letters that are correct. Hard Mode effectively stops players from using 'dummy' words just to try to figure out an extra letter or two. There may be 24 letters, but there are only 6 guesses, and wasting a guess is more hurtful to a player's strategy. More than anything else though, the best way to successfully solve a Wordle puzzle is to relax, focus on the clues, and if stuck, use the hints provided below.
For those that don't wish to be completely spoiled with today's Wordle answer, here are a few hints to help out.
- Hint 1: Today's Wordle does NOT contain a repeated letter.
- Hint 2: This word could make someone feel humiliated.
- Hint 3: "It sure would be a _____ if you lost your Wordle streak."
Today's Wordle answer is SHAME.
The standard definition of shame is a painful feeling of humiliation caused by the consciousness of wrong or foolish behavior.
For our starting Wordle word today we used ROAST, which provided a correctly placed 'A' and an incorrectly placed 'S'. For word number two we tried SCAPE, this placed the 'S' in the correct position and provided the right spot for 'E'. This proved to make things more difficult with a long string of available words to choose from. Our third guess was SLADE, proving 'L' and 'D' were incorrect. Then we went with SNAKE, also incorrect but still working down the possible available letters. Finally, in the fifth guess, we got the correct answer with SHAME. Many times it's the most common word that can truly throw someone off their game, but that is what makes Wordle so enjoyable.
