Elden Ring: How To Get The Demi-Human Ashes | Screen Rant
The Demi-Human Ashes is a Summon in Elden Ring that conjures the Spirits of five brutish demi-human apemen. An excellent visual representation of the meme, "Apes together strong," this vicious group of unruly demi-humans is incredibly aggressive and will effectively pummel any enemy mobs weak to physical or staggering attacks. Furthermore, if the Demi-Human Spirits are summoned after nightfall, their eyes glow red as their feral blood boils in Elden Ring, increasing both their pugnacity and attack power.
The primary strengths of the Demi-Human Spirit Ashes are their numbers and the ability to distract and stunlock enemies in place with their fierce onslaught of club bashing and sword slashing. However, a significant drawback of this Spirit Summon is that they are somewhat fragile and can quickly be wiped out with a powerful AoE attack. Furthermore, they make little to no attempt at dodging enemy strikes, making them quite vulnerable to an opponent's ranged attacks. Therefore, Tarnished must carefully assess their combat situation to see whether the Demi-Human band is suitable for the fight.
To get the Demi-Human Ashes in Elden Ring, adventurers must find and defeat the Erdtree Burial Watchdog of the Impaler's Catacombs, a Dungeon located near the northeastern coastline of the Weeping Peninsula. Players can reach this location by riding the Spiritspring close to the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace. This jump point will lead to the plateau above, allowing Tarnished to travel northward to the entrance of the Impaler's Catacombs.
Starting from the Dungeon's Grace Site, head down the first two flights of stairs to the boss entryway. Continue down the central corridor while mindful of the multiple Imps patrolling the halls. Go into the first room on the right, but immediately back out as it's a spiked ceiling trap area. Drop to the watery basement below and go to the ladder at the back of the right chamber. Be sure to loot the corpse near the basement's entrance to acquire the Prattling Pate collectible, "Please Help."
After ascending the tall ladder, Tarnished will find the lever to unlock the boss room. The Dungeon's boss is a Greatsword-wielding Erdtree Burial Watchdog accompanied by two Imp minions. Adventurers are recommended to take out the Imps first to prevent the threat of being inflicted with Blood Loss while fighting the boss. Once the Erdtree Burial Watchdog of the Impaler's Catacombs is dead, Elden Ring fans will be rewarded with the Demi-Human Ashes.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
