Just watched part 1.
Anyone watching or watched it?
The access he was allowed to vulnerable people.
The relationship with senior members of the Royal family.
Relationship with Margaret Thatcher.
The tens of millions in charity money raised.
The whole thing is just bizarre and confusing and disturbing.
I didn't grow up with Saville on tele, by the time I was a child watching television it was mid to late 90s and he was largely retired and absent.
He popped up occasionally on shows but it was rare.
I just found him totally weird and not right even as a child, something about him was off so when it all came out I wasn't at all surprised.
And even watching his interviews from the 70s and 80s to me with modern eyes he is so creepy.
Didn't people feel like that back then? Different times etc?
But I didnt realise how big he was? He was one of the most famous people in the country at one time?
A truly awful awful evil man.
And then we have members of our support who sing songs about him and dress as him ffs.
