Better Call Saul Season 6 New Cast & Returning Character Guide
Here's your full Better Call Saul season 6 cast and character guide. Before Saul Goodman was laundering Walter White's dirty cash in Breaking Bad, he was the aspiring, young Albuquerque lawyer known as Jimmy McGill, fighting tooth and nail to forge a career in the legal world. Over 5 seasons, Better Call Saul has shown Jimmy's ever-so-gradual transition into the Saul Goodman Breaking Bad fans know and love, and season 6 marks the final leg of that journey.
Better Call Saul's cast and characters are undoubtedly among the spinoff's greatest strengths. Blending Breaking Bad favorites with newcomers who are just as compelling, Better Call Saul season 6 must reveal what becomes of those we don't see in the main series, and explain how those who do survive become the characters we see later on.
Because season 6 brings us closer to the Breaking Bad timeline than ever before, Better Call Saul's cast and characters are a largely familiar bunch, and include some major new additions. No doubt there'll be surprises along the way too... These are the characters we know are appearing in Better Call Saul season 6.
The role of Jimmy McGill, Saul Goodman or Gene - depending on when you meet him - has provided Bob Odenkirk's breakout acting gig. Better Call Saul season 6 finds Jimmy deeply entrenched in New Mexico's criminal underworld, but still not as deeply committed as the character we meet in Breaking Bad. During Better Call Saul's future timeline, Jimmy is hiding in Omaha under the alias "Gene."
Jimmy's wife and (literal) partner-in-crime, Kim Wexler has given up a prestigious lawyer position to strike out solo, helping those who can't afford proper representation. Kim has also evolved into the driving force behind Jimmy's criminal scams, pushing for ever more ambitious cons. Rhea Seehorn previously featured in Veep and Franklin & Bash.
All Mike Ehrmantraut wanted was a quiet retirement to enjoy watching his granddaughter grow up; now he's the right-hand man of criminal drug lord, Gus Fring. A mafia Jack-of-all-trades type, Mike was once a cop, but his faith in justice ebbed away following his son's death. Previously featuring in Wiseguy, Jonathan Banks is no stranger to getting his hands dirty.
Otherwise known as the MCU's Mac Gargan/Scorpion, Michael Mando returns as Nacho Varga in Better Call Saul season 6. Nacho's job as a Salamanca family enforcer became a little too real after they targeted his civilian father, allowing Gus Fring to coerce Nacho into switching sides. Having helped orchestrate an attempted assassination on Lalo, Nacho is now on the run, but may have a friend in Mike...
In Better Call Saul season 5's finale, Jimmy & Kim chose Howard Hamlin - boss of the HHM law firm and their former employer - as a fitting next scam target. A lawyer in the most stereotypical mold, Howard has endured something of a personal crisis since the death of Chuck McGill in Better Call Saul season 3. Patrick Fabian starred in 2010 horror The Last Exorcism.
Everybody's favorite Salamanca narrowly escaped death at the end of Better Call Saul season 5. Lalo will now be gunning for Gus Fring, certain it was he who arranged the assassination attempt. Better Call Saul season 6 trailers reveal Lalo may deploy a body double to keep his survival secret. Tony Dalton recently appeared as Jack Duquesne in the MCU's Hawkeye series.
Breaking Bad's infamous villain joined Better Call Saul in season 3, far less established than audiences are accustomed to seeing him. Come season 6, Gus has botched the assassination of Lalo in his crusade against the Salamancas, and must now fix his mess - plus there's a half-built meth superlab to finish. Giancarlo Esposito plays Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian and Stan Edgar in The Boys.
Bryan Cranston as Walter White - Breaking Bad's star is now confirmed to appear in Better Call Saul season 6. Bryan Cranston will reprise his most iconic role as Walter White, but exactly how, and in which timeline, remains to be seen.
Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman - Alongside Walt comes Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman, whose Breaking Bad story found resolution thanks to the El Camino movie. Paul has since appeared in Westworld.
David Ury as Spooge - As revealed in Better Call Saul's season 6 trailer, David Ury returns as Spooge, Breaking Bad's ill-fated ATM-stealing meth addict.
Mark Margolis as Hector Salamanca - The Salamanca family patriarch now uses a wheelchair and lives in Casa Tranquila care home, communicating via a bell. Mark Margolis featured prominently throughout Breaking Bad.
Javier Grajeda as Juan Bolsa - Also returning from Breaking Bad is Javier Grajeda's Juan Bolsa, right-hand man to Don Eladio. Bolsa has appeared sporadically since Better Call Saul season 3
Daniel & Luis Moncada as The Twins - Silent but deadly, the Salamanca twins have stalked their way both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. They're wanting revenge for Lalo in season 6.
Lavell Crawford as Huell Babineaux - An increasingly important cog in Jimmy's wheel, Huell Babineaux will surely return in Better Call Saul season 6, once again played by the inimitable Lavell Crawford.
Ray Campbell as Tyrus - One of Gus Fring's chief henchman, Ray Campbell plays Tyrus in Better Call Saul. He can also be seen in How To Get Away With Murder.
Jeremiah Bitsui as Victor - Alongside Tyrus is Victor, played by Jeremiah Bitsui. The actor recently appeared in Yellowstone.
Ed Begley Jr. as Cliff Main - Partner of the Davis & Main law firm, Cliff is working with HHM on the Sandpiper case in Better Call Saul season 6. Can also be seen as Dr. Linkletter in Young Sheldon.
