Rockies sign LHP Kyle Freeland to 5-year deal

The Colorado Rockies signed left-handed starting pitcher Kyle Freeland to a new five-year contract Tuesday worth a reported $64.5 million.

The deal begins this season and covers two arbitration years and three years of free agency. Multiple outlets reported the total value of the deal.
