I’m a cleaning fan – my simple tip will lift the dirt from your microwave without scrubbing & it only takes a minute
IT seems every time you use your microwave more and more food bits get splattered across its surface.
Over time, the grime can become caked on, making it a pain to clean your microwave.
Luckily, one clever cleaning fanatic figured out a quick solution to wipe your microwave clean.
Sidney Raz, who’s known for finding out useful life hacks in his 30s, shared an easy trick for your microwave in a video.
Raz simply filled a bowl with lemon juice and water and placed it in his dirty microwave, then turned it on.
“Microwave that for like a minute and a half… and it should wipe out more smoothly,” Raz explained.

After heating the lemon water, Raz was able to easily wipe his microwave clean thanks to the lemony steam.
Several people were impressed with Raz’s cleaning hack in the comments, like one who wrote: “Thank god you’re showing me when I’m still young.”
Another added: “Lemon is magic for all clean things.”
Someone else commented: “Trying this tomorrow lol,” while another quipped: “OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH.”

To make Raz’s cleaning trick even more effective, one person suggested: “It works even better when you microwave it for 5-10 minutes and then leave it in there for 15 more minutes (so don’t open the door for another 15 mins).”
In case you don’t have any lemon juice on hand, you can also use white vinegar to blitz your microwave in minutes.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Hinch revealed the easy way she cleans up microwave food splatters in seconds using oven liners.
