Sonic Origins collection remasters four classics, releases this June

Sonic Origins is a collection of four Sega classics coming out on June 23, 2022. That’s the blue blur’s 30th birthday, for you uncultured swine that didn’t know!

The collection will contain several 2D Sega Genesis games, including Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic CD, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Yes, some of the blue blur’s greatest adventures will all be in one compilation. Best of all, Sonic Origins will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch.

There are also several DLC packages of Sonic Origins up for pre-order with extra content in each, which we’ll outline below.

The Sonic Origins Standard Edition will cost $39.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition will cost $44.99 across all platforms.
