THE Chase fans have branded the show as an “absolute fix” after contestants were given a “horrifying” set of questions.
Wednesday evening’s episode of the ITV quiz show saw Josh, Forida, Damien and Rosie join forces to take on one of the country’s finest brains – but the episode was soon ridiculed by viewers.

Josh and Forida bagged respectable amounts of £6,000 and £5,000 in their cash builders, but both failed to escape The Sinnerman in their head-to-head pursuits.
Damian made it back with £7,000 and Rosie joined him shortly after and brought her £8,000 with her.
However, it didn’t take fans long to share their thoughts on just how hard the questions were for the hopefuls.
Taking to Twitter, one person fumed: “What on earth are these questions? They’re so, so hard. What a fix.”

Echoing their comments, someone else said: “Both Josh and Forida’s questions have been horrifyingly difficult, is this The Chase or University Challenge?”
While a third added: “That is the worst set of questions I’ve ever seen. Absolutely rigged!”
Damien and Rosie, both made it back to the table – despite The Sinnerman not getting a single question wrong.
However, they were caught by the Chaser and left the studio empty-handed.
It’s not the first time that The Chase has been embroiled in a fix row.
Fans previously kicked off as a team lost a whopping £70,000 after Mark Labbett was given “easy questions”.
In a tense final round, a team last year managed to correctly answer 16 questions – with one contestant stopping The Beast after his first stumble.

But as the clock ticked down, he quickly caught up and viewers at home claimed his questions were evidence of a “fix”.
The team had a three-step head start on the chaser and managed to get 16 questions out of 23 right.
And after Mark easily caught up with them, one viewer said: “Such a fix, 70k and some of those questions a five-year-old could have answered.”
