I’m a bride – how to get your dream honeymoon for FREE & married couples will be mad they didn’t think of this
A 2022 bride has revealed a tip she claims all recently engaged couples must do.
She said it can help them achieve their dream honeymoon for free.
In a video posted to social media, bride Nichole Pagano called her guidance “the best wedding advice of all time.”
She went on to urge all newly engaged couples to open a new credit card as soon as possible.
She claimed she has the Capital One Venture, Chase Sapphire Preferred, and Alaska Air credit cards.
Pagano added that it’s important to choose a card that’s running some sort of sign-on bonus with the idea that couples will hit the spending minimum needed to achieve the bonus easily.

She said once couples decide on and open a card, they’re going to use it to pay for every last thing for their wedding.
“Even if the vendor charges like a 2 percent credit card fee, pay the fee.
“It is worth it,” she stated.
She also noted that while couples may want to just pay cash to stay out of debt, it’s a better strategy to pay through a credit card to earn any perks that come with spending money on the card.

In her case, she and her husband earned travel miles each time they used the card.
“So then when you have all these miles, you use it to literally book the honeymoon of your dreams for free,” Pagano explained.
“We are literally going to Europe first-class, round-trip, dream honeymoon for free, like nothing out of pocket.”
She added that all of their hotels were also paid with miles.
“There’s no con to this,” she asserted.
While Pagano’s advice came from her heart and worked for her, her video had an overall mixed response.
On one hand, people praised her for the tip and shared their similar circumstances.
“I had a lot of dental expenses and opened three travel cards.
“I have points for my next three international trips,” one viewer wrote.
“This is true for non-wedding as well!” another exclaimed.
“Treat your credit like a debit card and pay it off monthly.”
“We paid for our first-class flights to Cancun for our honeymoon, Boston, California, and New York for [our] first anniversary!” a third supporter commented.
However, others slammed Pagano for encouraging others to build debt via credit cards and pressed that this advice only works for people with the cash to make the monthly payments.
In response, she said she “absolutely advise[s] this if you’re in the position to.”
