Emmerdale spoilers: Rhona Goskirk forced to make tough decision as Marlon Dingle returns home
THE aftermath of Marlon Dingle’s stroke continues and, soon, finances become an issue over at Smithy Cottage.
Emmerdale vet Rhona Goskirk – played by Zoe Henry – makes a decision to earn some extra cash.
Things are beginning to look up following Marlon’s (Mark Charnock) stroke as the chef is allowed to return home in upcoming scenes of the ITV drama.
But a small mishap which almost costs him his life adds pressure to both Marlon’s fiancée Rhona and daughter April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan).
To make matters worse, the cost of Marlon’s hospital bills is pushing Rhona to the limit as money progressively runs out in chunks.
Coming up, Rhona jumps in back at work in the vets, ready to balance her career with her personal life and taking care of Marlon by helping Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) with an injured dog.

Despite him needing to focus on his recovery, Marlon can’t help but worry about family finances when Charity (Emma Atkins) tells him he’ll have to go onto statutory sick pay.
Rhona is left with no other choice but to take matters into her own hands.
She suggests she starts back part time to have some money to spare.
Although they have had their differences and have been estranged for years, Rhona can count on her mother Mary’s support as the latter promises she will stay by her side during Marlon’s recovery.

However, this doesn’t prevent an incident from happening.
As mentioned above, Marlon gets thrown into danger again as he chokes on a sip of water his daughter April tries to give him next week.
The mishap is set to rattle the father-daughter duo, especially the teenager who is adamant on supporting her father however she can.
April contributed to saving her father’s life by calling an ambulance when she found him on the ground following his stroke.
She has been a great source of support for Rhona in spite of Marlon initially closing his hospital room off for any visitors.
Will Rhona find a way around their money issues?
