Burnley next manager odds: Wayne Rooney, Rafa Benitez and Vincent Kompany in contention, Chris Wilder still favourite
CHRIS WILDER remains favourite for the Burnley job, according to bookmakers Betfair.
The 54-year-old is the frontrunner at 6/4 for the vacant position at Turf Moor ahead of Wayne Rooney, Rafa Benitez and Sam Allardyce.

Bodo/Glimt boss Kjetil Knutsen, Nuno Espirito Santo and Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany are also in contention at double-figure odds.
But those prices could soon collapse.
And that’s because Wilder has started to drift in the betting after reassuring Middlesbrough supporters that he’s “all in” at Riverside Stadium.
He said: “I’ve always been incredibly committed. I’m all in.
“I want to work in the Premier League, I want to work in the Premier League with Middlesbrough.
“My sole aim is to affect results and improve the football club, we’ve done that in a short space of time and I’m excited about the future.”
