Citing the acute shortage of drinking water amid sustained annual depletion of groundwater levels in the national capital region (NCR) cities, including Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi, and Gurgaon, the Confederation of NCR Residents Welfare Associations (CONRWA) has written to Union minister for Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on the urgent need to take pre-emptive steps for adequate water supply to the region.
