And the Sky Sports pundit went to extreme measures to make sure he left West London undetected.

In the covert mission dubbed ‘Operation Exit The Bridge,’ the former United defender moved swiftly through the raucous supporters with his coat over his head!

But the former Red Devils’ defender’s deft moves seemed to do the trick as he maneuvered incognito amongst the slew of Blues and Hammers fans.

Although Neville admitted that he was taking a risk that wouldn’t have been possible ten years ago, in his Instagram documented journey.

Whilst making a series of bemused facial expressions, Neville said: “I couldn’t have done this 10 years ago, I think I’d have been battered!”, to the backdrop of chants from both sets of supporters.

Neville then shared his relief when he bumped into the local authorities and quipped: “Always nice to see the police,” with a wide grin.

He continued unchallenged for the remainder of his perilous journey unscathed before switching his legs for a set of wheels.

Neville then ditched his jacket disguise for a helmet as he jumped on the back of a pre-booked taxi bike in true James Bond style.

The visibly amused ex-England international then wrapped up his commentary with: “what a beautiful operation. Like that didn’t ya!,” before riding off into the distance.

But Neville couldn’t resist taking a final dig at the Blues and quipped: “It’s dead posh round here, you can’t do that at every ground.”

Blues fans will be hoping to get Neville back when the Blues take on Man United on Thursday.

And the Blues will fancy their chances at Old Trafford after witnessing Arsenal’s 3-1 win over the Red Devils on the weekend.
