Chinese task force asks government to improve air quality
SHANGHAI, China: A Chinese task-force has urged the government to raise air quality standards, in a bid to decrease the levels of smog in the nation's cities.
It was noted, however, that following a 2013 campaign, air pollution in China has improved significantly.
Officials said that hazardous airborne particles, known as PM2.5, were reduced by about half from 2015 levels to 30 micrograms per cubic metre
