Selling Sunset: Why Chelsea Believes Christine Was Being Bullied

0

Chelsea Lazkani might be the Selling Sunset season 5 newcomer, but she's taking notice of the bullying campaign against Christine Quinn. Viewers got to see her defend Christine during her first meeting with the other agents. With Christine having so many enemies in the office, Chelsea entered the group guilty by association. However, the British Nigerian is applauding herself for rising "above the drama."

Chelsea made a statement for her show debut. With her being introduced to the group through Christine, she holds loyalty to the show's villain. Christine entered season 5 with little to no friends, and the few friends she had left, Christine managed to add them to her enemy list. Now Chelsea is the only one left willing to hear Christine out. When Chelsea finally got to meet The Oppenheim Group agents, she worked to show them she was her own individual and shouldn't be judged based on the issues everyone has with Christine. Nonetheless, Chelsea took notice of how the ladies seemingly ganged up on Christine at a brokerage event.

Season 5 saw Christine get confronted by the ladies at an event she threw with Chelsea. What started as a heated exchange between Christine and Amanza Smith soon included fellow castmates Mary Fitzgerald, Chrishell Stause, Emma Hernan, and Heather Rae Young. All of the ladies expressed their gripes with the Selling Sunset OG, but Chelsea stood up for Christine, telling the ladies they were coming off as bullies. Looking back at the awkward introduction, Chelsea believes more maturity should've been present. "I think that as adults and as professionals, if we have a gripe with somebody, we go to that person directly," Chelsea told ET about the heated encounter. The Manhattan Beach resident also called out those who interjected themselves in what starred as an argument between Christine and Amanza. Chelsea believes everyone else should've "shut up, and you mind your business."

Chelsea is a married mother of two who is working to break back into luxury real estate after taking time off to have her children. Now with a son and a daughter, Chelsea is focused on gaining entry into The Oppenheim Group to get her foot back into LA's luxury real estate market. While she's hoping to align herself with the ladies, all of the in-office drama is a turnoff. Chelsea believes the ladies shouldn't have ganged up on Christine at the brokerage event. "At very best, if you want to get involved, you mediate, OK?" she said, noting how some people chose to "throw stones" instead of diffusing the situation. Christine was brought to tears when confronted by the ladies.

She stormed out of her own event, and Chelsea was the only one who went to check on her. With all of the ladies at odds with Christine, it's clear why she wanted Chelsea to join the team. Season 5 has seen Christine add new enemies to her list, including Amanza and Davina Potratz. Even Vanessa Villela remained quiet while Christine got called out by the ladies. With all the enemies Christine has made, she remains the villain of Selling Sunset. Despite some of the ladies' attempts at making peace, Christine is ruthless with her shady humor. However, Chelsea is staying in the middle and wants everyone to be on their best behavior.
