She uploaded a video showing off her deep colour, and said: “Think I ripped it on the sunbed.”

Her video has racked up over 160,000 views, and people asked her what regime she does.

She wrote: “I got the x3 triple strength nasal, no cream, 10 mins 3/4 times a week.”

While some people said they wanted to also get a deep tan, others were not as complimentary.

More on sunbeds

THAT'S TIGHT

I stopped using sun beds & invested in skin routine, people say I look OLDER

GETTING BAKED

I work in a sunbed shop and we’ve got nicknames for all the customers

One said: “dkk if its bc of the lighting but you look a little to dark.”

Another added: “This is so wrong.”

The NHS warns against using sunbeds due to them emitting ultraviolet (UV) rays that increase your risk of developing skin cancer.

The website states: “Many sunbeds give out greater doses of UV rays than the midday tropical sun.

“People who are frequently exposed to UV rays before the age of 25 are at greater risk of developing skin cancer later in life.

“Sunbeds, sunlamps and tanning booths give out the same type of harmful radiation as sunlight.”

SHOULD YOU USE SUNBEDS?

Some people are more at risk of melanoma skin cancer than others.

The NHS reports that you should not use sun beds, sunlamps or tanning booths if you:

  • have fair or sensitive skin
  • have a history of sunburn (especially in childhood)
  • have red hair and freckles
  • have lots of moles
  • are taking any creams or medication that could increase your skin’s sensitivity to sunlight
  • have a medical condition that can be made worse by sunlight
  • have had skin cancer previously
  • already have sun burn
