Jedi Fallen Order: 10 Best Memes | Screen Rant
The Star Wars franchise has birthed some incredible video games over its 45-year life, and one of the best in recent years is Jedi: Fallen Order. The game is chock full of fantastic characters, pieces of gameplay, and a great story that, like most elements of Star Wars, has spawned some hilarious memes for fans to enjoy.
Whether they be criticisms and commentaries on specific features of the game or simply funny anecdotes based on it, there are a plethora of memes based on the game, many of which are very entertaining to the passionate fandom.
While the idea of character customization is something that gets every gamer excited prior to a game's release, it does not always live up to expectations, and as great as Fallen Order is, it does not have the greatest diversity of options.
In saying that, though, ponchos are a treat. There are a variety of fantastic costumes in the game, and while there are some truly ugly ponchos and main outfits, some of them are quality, with something to most people's taste available for unlocking.
Depending on whether the player chooses to play the game on the more difficult levels or not, most of the amazing locations in Jedi: Fallen Order offer a series of challenges, but there is arguably no place harder than Dathomir.
If the player decides to take Cal there without the appropriate training and experience, they will likely find themselves overwhelmed by the waves of Nightbrothers and Dathomir natives, who will rip the player to shreds with their range of weapons time and time again.
There is a good bit of exploring for players to do in the game, getting to travel to numerous planets and get familiar with their nature and native species of them. This does, though, usually involve killing many, many creatures.
Of course, a multitude of different beasts force the player into slaying them with epic lightsaber combinations. Still, there is no doubt that most players have, at least once or twice, relished the opportunity of diving in lightsaber-first to attack the local wildlife.
Facing off against Darth Vader is one of the most epic parts of Jedi: Fallen Order and the game really nails the intimidating energy of the iconic villain spot-on. This meme points out the potentially funnier side of the moment, though.
The player could very well have a colorful outfit and poncho combination equipped, such as the classic pink, to juxtapose with the striking black of Vader's outfit. Fighting Inquisitorius with bright colored looks is funny enough, never mind Vader.
The relationship between Cal and BD-1 is one of the best droid/human combos in Star Wars, but that does not mean that, outside of cutscenes, they do not get repetitive with one another.
The shock and questioning of Cal every time BeeDee jumps in a crate or discovers a new piece of the map can get irritating but then morphs back into funny when memes like this pop up to point out the ridiculousness. They are two of the best characters in the Jedi: Fallen Order regardless.
Jedi: Fallen Order may be one of the best Star Wars campaign-focused games of all time, but that does not make it perfect, nor does it mean the game is not without its nonsensical elements, such as Cal's lack of lightsaber use.
This wonderfully designed piece of artwork from CAD comics showcases the near-stupidity Cal displays every time he forgets about the capabilities of his lightsaber. Instead of cutting through doors, akin to Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan in The Phantom Menace, Cal always elects to take a long way around.
The Oggdo Bogdo is unquestionably the enemy that players look forward to playing least, even over difficult bosses such as the Second and Ninth Sisters and Taron Malicos.
This meme speaks to players on two levels. On the one hand, it takes absolutely forever to defeat them in the game's most difficult setting, and on the other hand, it takes years off the players' lives when facing off against them - at least they feel that way.
The Empire's lack of care for the individuals within its tyrannical organization is well known, and Jedi: Fallen Order shows that this aspect of it has spread down to rocket troopers who have no care for their fellow soldiers.
Without a second thought, rocket troopers will aim and launch at Cal as soon as they can and they obviously have zero regard about who is in their way. They will happily take out fellow troopers, and it is hilarious to watch.
The planets are really beautifully designed in Jedi: Fallen Order, and they all play to different preferences that the player has. At one point or another, though, every player has gotten frustrated by Zeffo.
It is a colossus of a map, twisting and turning just often enough to get players lost and having players return throughout the campaign enough to allow them an audible grunt. It can, more often than not, be a fun time, but it can also be painful.
