Lohengrin review: A Perfect Evening at the Opera

I took a long time to appreciate Wagner's operas. Like most other people, I always loved the excitement of the Ride of the Valkyries and I enjoyed the magnificence of the rousing overture to Tannhauser, but an entire opera was too much for me, especially when I tried listening to them.
