Brady Slavens began his week with a four-hit, four-RBI performance in Tuesday night’s clash with in-state foe Arkansas State, launching a grand slam in the Razorbacks’ 10-1 win. He continued to slug during the weekend, singlehandedly outscoring Texas A&M with his pair of solo home runs in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Blue Bell Park.

RHP Connor Noland

Connor Noland made his 10th start of the season on Friday night at Texas A&M and turned in his team-leading seventh quality start of the year. The veteran right-hander fanned seven over six innings, allowing only two runs (both unearned) on two hits and three walks. Noland lowered his season ERA from 2.82 to 2.54 with the outing.
Freshman of the Week
INF Peyton Stovall
Stats (4 GP/4 GS): .417/533/.583, 5-for-12, 4 R, 2 2B, 3 RBI
Peyton Stovall’s big week at the plate included a pair of multi-hit efforts in the SEC road series at Texas A&M. The true freshman from Haughton, La., singled twice and scored a run in the series opener on Friday before matching his career high with three base knocks, including two doubles, and two RBI in Sunday’s finale in College Station.
