Boyfriend’s snoring is so loud I can’t sleep next to him
DEAR DEIDRE: I BARELY sleep at night when sharing a bed with my boyfriend.

I’m 24 and he’s 26. We have been together for nine months, but I have never shared a bed with someone who snores so loudly and so strangely.
When I do finally drop off it’s never for very long.
His arms and legs jerk about – whacking me and waking me in the process.
I want us to move in together but I can’t see it working out if I can’t get a good night’s sleep.

DEIDRE SAYS: It could be that your boyfriend has sleep apnoea, given his loud snores and restless movements at night.
People who suffer from this condition can briefly stop breathing, which can be dangerous.
Encourage him to make a doctor’s appointment, especially since it is negatively impacting your relationship.
I am also attaching my support pack called Stop Snoring, to give you some more guidance.
